My car was at 16bar and it held for a week before I ripped out the DRC but the general consensus was it holding a lot of air. There should be no air in the system if done correctly but the car will take a couple of days to settle, so leave the car with whoever does it. Nothing worse than picking it up only to find out it has failed again or lost pressure a couple of days later. That said, the B7 DRC is probably a lot better or more to the point, the chassis isn't made out of an old cake tin.

Also bam, did I read somewhere that you can use higher pressure in the DRC for 'stiffer' suspension? I thought I'd ask you as you get around :biggrin3:

It goes without saying of course that I'm not insinuating you're a man slag........

Never heard that one before... the more pressure/stiffer DRC thing, I get called a man slaaaag daily. I cannot see how that would be a great thing anyways.
One of the lads on the C5 forum plumbed in a pressure gauge and an easy connect line for ease of monitor and re-pressurisation. I think if you were going to keep your B7 for a while this would be a good thing to develop... or just rip it out for coilovers, Öhlins, mmmmmmmmmmm.

Mmmmmm indeed. If I were to go coilovers then those would be the ones for me.

Connect line and pressure gauge indeed would be very handy. More surfing required to fine appropriate gauge a nipple fitment....... :biggrin3:

ESP: Massively impressed with your car revival, thought it was a gonner when I saw the first pics. Nicely done!
