A few pics after a couple of days detailing.

Spent the last 2 days on and off giving the

RS a good going over for the first time since i picked her up 2 months ago now. Re-inspired by AdrianD's photo a while ago i took the car down to the local multi-storey car park for some pics. I headed into town just before the car park closed so i could ensure getting a floor all to myself for the photographs, plus it was a good opportunity to get the camera kit out to keep my eye in on the photography front as well.
Quite pleased with the results, both how well the car looks and the pics so i thought i'd share them.
Hope you like them.
(Some are just black and white versions of the same photograph as i can never make my mind up if i prefer colour or black and white.........

Really enjoyed looking through those, the effort you've put into cleaning and the compositions show in the end results.

Cheers Surrey Sam. I'm certainly no professional detailer, just love the car and have a touch of OCD about keeping it immaculate.

In fact my wife drove it to work the very next morning and it rained, now all i want to do is get back out there this afternoon and wash it already. I could spend half my life keeping this up........lol

I love the front and rear shots of it on the exit ramp. Very professional looking. Great photography skills. But i think that the effort you put into cleaning it helps make it look so good.
Great work that man.

I had considered getting it professionally detailed just after i bought the car after seeing your post regarding the detailer you found in Edinburgh. Decided against it for now as there is no better way to find out exactly what state your car is in than to do a full detail yourself, now i know where every paint fault and mark is ready for getting them corrected.
I may possibly use the chap you found recently as his work on yours looked impressive. How much did it set you back for the job?

I wish i was as brave as you doing it yourself! I've never used a machine before but i imagine you have so you are in a far better position to do it than me.
Yeah, it's worth a trip to come over and see him. I paid all in £180. He took 2 days to do mine. That was including wet sanding the bonnet to get 2 deep scratches out. The pics in Detailing World didn't really do the finish any justice to be honest. I had loads of swirls but when i picked the car up it was like glass.
Which car park were your pics taken? Might sneak a session in there myself

I used 2 in Dundee Alex, the new Leisure centre car park and i'm not sure what the other is called but it's behind the police station. The new leisure centres roof top level will be ideal for a cracking sunset picture as the sun sets over the top of Dundee just in the right direction. I'll be taking a trip back again at some point when the time is right and we have a great sunset. It's ideal at the moment as it's squeaky clean and everything looks crisp and new, hence the bright colours on the walls and floor in a couple of the pics.
Surely there must be a suitable location in Edinburgh........

Cheers rocket, I love the car and she does look mighty fine all polished up, and the noise with the Milltek is just addictive.
Rick I've only gone for the Avant because the bigger boot adds more base inside the car to the Milltek!
Cheers Daytona3.

That looks bloody awesome. Mine's a Daytona grey saloon and seeing yours has made me decide what I'm going to do with most of this weekend!

Loving this mate. Your car looks amazing after the detailing and your skills are great with the camera. I'm still trying to find the right spot to take some photos. Quite fancy an old castle or something.
Great viewing
