So, I finally find a mint 06 plate Sprint Blue with FBSW, Recaros, tech pack etc drive it maybe 4 times in 2 months. Absolutely worship the car....

I went away to Bristol on Friday leaving the car at home (so it didn't get any parking dings whilst there) and get back to find my passenger door, rear door and rear panel all keyed. I absolutely detest some people on this planet. Pure jealousy.

I'm getting it repaired and selling it. There is no way I'm being a victim to this sort of behaviour.

If anyone is interested, I will be selling it once sorted.

Don't sell due to some brain dead fool doing this, I've even had my van keyed before, just some kid with nothing better to do, don't let it spoil your fun

I'm in a cul-de-sac mate with parking in the middle. Someone has gone out of their way to do it.

Can understand why your pissed off fella,I would feel the same...but selling it seems a bit extreme..my missus had her crappy green focus keyed last year,so you could sell buy a shitter and still have that keyed..how pissed off would you be then?...

I know how you feel mate. I brought my first a3 after a month it got keyed down the whole passenger side out side my house. Had it repaired but kept the car for 12 months with no more problems. Then sold the car an brought an 12 month old s3. With in 2 weeks Had passager side keyed week after the mirrors knicked then week after that got car jacked out side my house. So i moved house lol. Not saying you should do that like lol still kept the car thou an still got it know There will always be t***s around doing this type of thing but don't get rid of something you enjoy just because of them.

I didn't think I would get my T5 keyed, I doubt it was a jealous builder

I couldn't live with the stress of having to leave the RS outside, I wouldn't own a decent car if I had to do that, sad times.

I know it seems extreme but I couldn't bare to think of it happening again. My car is always my pride and joy. I'm forever worrying about things like this happening! I'm going to call the insurance company tomorrow, get it sorted then unfortunately I will be selling

Must admit I hate leaving the car anywhere and when things do happen I think of selling.

I must admit I don't like leaving my car in certain places, always think of the buckets getting nicked, was think of getting some seat covers made up to look like comfort seats

I think people have to realise that having a car like this gets both good and bad attention. I have a few parking scratches that need attention and it does pi$$ me off when I see posts like this, but it wouldn’t make me walk away from a smashing car that I love.
