After seeing the excellent write up on
http://www.tyresmoke.net/forum/audi-rs/ ... -drls.html I did the same mod today - took about an hour all told, mostly due to the fiddly offside bulb.
Here's a pic in bright sunshine of one side done, the other not...
Parts used:
I bought these bulbs:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B009 ... UTF8&psc=1 (£9)
and 2 of these resistors:
http://www.rapidonline.com/Electronic-C ... or-62-8112 (£3)
and 4 of these Scothloks:
http://www.rapidonline.com/Cables-Conne ... ue-51-0386 (£2)

Them resistors can get upto 100 degree's so make sure you don't mount them to plastic.
I have a solution for the RS4 DRL to make them work error free.
Will put some info up on Tuesday.

Yep, I put some on, took them straight off as they get way too hot, I replaced mine with some that don't, can't remember the make as it was over a year ago, sorry not very helpful, but I would not fit those in my engine bay with the heat they produce

Yeah, they do get hot, but then the engine bay's a pretty hot place to be... I didn't mount them per se, just tied them in place. Maybe I'll double check they're not melting any hoses or anything
I'd be interested to see what trick you have up your sleeve, Trups...
