center arm rest clip fix

the replacement 3D printed armrest clips have arrived and they work a treat!.
dead easy to fit-
first remove your arm rest lid from the car, you do this by squeezing together the two arms that connect the lid to the base and pry it free.
then you need to separate the leather top from the plastic underneath. i used an old butter knife slid between the leather and the plastic to unhook the clips at each side, there is also two spots of glue holding the leather section on but these came away quite easily with a bit of a pull. you only need to undo the first clip at each side of the front edge to give you enough room to fit the new clip. then fit your spring bar to the clip then fit the new clip by sliding the legs of the clip through the slots in the plastic underside and then locate the round pegs at the end of the legs into the corresponding holes in the plasitic base, then clip your leather top back into the plastic base ( mine clipped back together ok i didn't need to re glue it).
then refit your lid to your base, job done!. if anyone wants to order one here is the link - http://www.shapeways.com/model/1002827/ ... material=6
if you have lost your metal spring bar order this version which has a built in plastic hook - http://www.shapeways.com/model/999977/a ... Box-search
