Camberley!

Post by EddyPee » Tue Mar 26, 2013 9:23 pm

Just a quick big up for camberley Audi. Took the motor there despite Basingstoke Audi being a 5 minute walk from my work. I knew I'd probably need oil pipes and cooler, air box and a proper service. Never had any problems with Basingstoke but have seen a lot of good opinions on camberley so I felt it was worth the 15 mile trip.

Got a great service from Rob, clearly sees a lot of RS's as he was well aware of oil cooler issues, DRC and also some owners pickiness on having Audi clean their cars.

As it turned out I did need oil cooler and pipes and Airbox, also they found DRC needed doing as well. Got me a 50% goodwill on the cooler and pipes and got the DRC and airbox and a steering leak done all under warranty. I know I pay for the warranty but it would be easy to claim Audi aren't budging.

Anyway , a good service, kept me up to speed and all all round good guy to deal with

Can definately recommend them as someone to go to. less impressed with the guy at slough who told me when I bought it that DRC was done and Camberley suggested different!

On a seperate note, the air box seems to have gained me some extra noise level and a few additional horses, felt rapid when I went home last night and there has been a few more turned heads in sport mode, as if people here it coming now.

Cars can be quite personal things, you just want to feel like its getting a level of service and attention that matches the owners feelings for their car.

A good example being it was shitting it with snow when I went to get it Saturday morning, rob had arranged to keep the car inside overnight so it was not caked in snow, was clean and wasn't anywhere where it could get damaged. A small thing but its that attention that makes you feel like the car is as important to them as it is to me as the owner.

Collected mine from Camberley on Saturday as well. Just an MOT and a tiny bit of work this time, but always make the trip from central London for the same reasons...

Dealers that give a <beep> about owners and their cars, if only that would catch on with the likes of Audi,Porsche and BMW here in Scotland.
