RS4 with a quad tailpipe I think....

Was it an S4 ? -I couldn't see any flared rear arches (?)

It looked like an S4 I think.

Yeah I thought s4 too. Imagine if they'd had an rs4

Remember one episode some time ago where they stopped a German registered RS4 at a very high speed on the motorway and the cops were pretty surprised at the way it went for an estate.

If you stop it at 8:59 on i-player it looks like a debadged B7 S4 saloon given the wing mirrors are the folding adjustable type, lack of rear arches, shallow rear diffuser and weedy quad pipes. If it was an RS4 with Milltek or Tubi quad pipes you'd hear it, that was whisper quiet!

I caught a glimpse too but only the tail end. I remember the white Greman Avant a while ago, it was hilarious. He even booted the hell out of it when they let him go - the coppers just laughed and said something like 'Typical German'! Lol

Think the white RS4 was on Police Interceptors. A few weeks back.
It had eluded several standard police cars so they went after it with their 260bhp Evo, the cops said if he had wanted to lose them he could have easily
The car had been done before but the German guy in it clearly didn't give a toss At one point when they were following him their HUD was at 142mph The evo would have topped out around 150 but I think the RS4 would be unlimited given it was a German car so would have been good for 180 or so.

S4, it was too slow to be one of our beats

Should I be worried I just brought a b7 rs4 what can I do to prevent it going missing

Best part was at the end when they let him on his way but warned him to be careful rejoining the motorway - build up speed on the hard shoulder as its a fast flowing road.

Guy just pinged the clutch and tore off up the road right in front of them!
