Hi rogc.
Thanks for the comments.
I decided to keep the DRC because I liked the ride quality and went for the kw springs for aesthetic reasons rather than handling. However, many owners on here have done for coilovers and have nothing but good things to say about them. Certainly coilovers is the safest option with regards to future bills. It makes particular sense if you have faulty DRC and are already faced with a big repair bill. Even in thay scenario though I opted to repair DRC and lower with the adjustable springs.

With regards to privacy glass, I thought mine was a factory fit but I'm told this wasn't option on the saloon so must have been aftermarket. I can't tell you what shade or who did it unfortunately as it was like that when I bought it (seems to be the only non standard thing when I bought it, oh and the parrot kit).

For the stereo details and lots more details / photos see the stereo link in my signature. Hope you enjoy reading that one too.

I liked the colour of the white seat backs, but wasn't happy with the finish of my 1st time wrapping. This meant it was time to go permanent and get them sprayed.
I went for Ibis white. Also had the seat belt hoops done at the same time (which weren't wrapped at all before).
I'm really pleased with it, although it doesn't look a great deal different to how it did before.

They look good, you going to clear wrap them to protect them from kids feet?

Looks good buddy. Are you going to give them a sacrificial layer for the kids to attack?

The wrap survived the attack of the kids so I'm hopefull this will too. I hadn't considered a clear wrap, but it is actually quite a good idea.

Having a few things done to my interior trim soon, got me thinking of having my seat backs done RIV blue?

Definitely worth it Mike after all your kids have a huge whiteboard to decorate on their journeys with whatever they can smuggle past you. It may come down to tipping them upside down before entry followed by a pocket search for writing implements.

No, I wouldn't attempt anything like that myself. I know a local guy from a car audio forum who does my paintwork / detailing etc.

Edit: I did remove and strip the sears myself, it was just the spraying that I left to someone else.

Yeah I think that would work. Maybe with matching interior trims? The B8 has less trimming than the B7 doesn't it?

Thanks Rick. I do love the look of the carbon backed seats but it had been done before. I've seen the white cars with the white backs but never seen a black car with white seats before.
