I had some interior work done by Argon Creative and MJ Interiors and as promised, I’m posting some pictures on here drum up some business for them.
Argon Creative (carbon skinning): -
Bucket seat backs including the seatbelt hoops
Handbrake handle
Gear Knob
Blank plate (that I’ve made) to cover the phone mount
MJ Interiors (re-trim): -
Bucket seats: Re-trimmed the back & base with new black leather, repair worn side bolsters, changed some panels with silver leather.
Door cards: - Re-trimmed in silver leather
Central armrest: Bought new cloth armrest and re-trimmed in silver leather.
Steering wheel: I removed bottom silver plastic trim, packed with rubber to the same diameter as the rest of the rim, cut the plastic trim and then give it to MJ to re-trim in perforated black and smooth silver leather. I then glue the RS4 badge back on.
I’ve also installed an Aux input and power socket in the glove box. The plan is to run an extension cable out to the phone mount, where I would have a cradle for an iPhone or iPod.
Before (with Recaro CS Sportsters)
After (with OE buckets)

Steering wheel work in progress

a) That steering wheel with emblem is quality - as is the seat work - top job!
b) Not sure about the phone cradle - kinda looks odd - I couldn't wait to remove mine - each to their own.

Wow, the seats look fantastic, absolutely love what you've done there,- the carbon looks superb but I'm personally not so keen on the handbrake and phone. Its a fine line for me with carbon between cool and chavvy but I think you're just on the right side!

I've though for ages about carbon mirrors but think its a step too far. Just my tuppence worth.

Phone blank looks very odd... but everything else looks awesome!! You'll be wiping that arm rest down more often than you think though...

Thanks for all the positive comments, I also agree with the negative ones.
I don’t like the phone mount either, at least the carbon cover is only clipped on. Whenever my daughters seat in my car, they always want to listen to their iPhone/iPod and I need somewhere to mount an iPod dock. I’m plugging an extension cable out from the dock in the glove box so they don’t have to open the glove box every time they want to change a song. I thought about a 2010+ RNS-E and Audi Multimedia Interface and changing the console, but not just yet.
I have Eczema on my hands and with the ointment I use, the handbrake and gear knob looks like it has done 100k+ miles, so I had them carbon skinning and I think they feel great to the hand.
The silver leather makes a big difference to the ambience of the cabin, now it feels light and airy.
As Teutonic Turner had said, the only trouble with the seats is that we can’t see it from the driver’s seat!
