Please help! Maybe oil cooler pipes!
Please help! Maybe oil cooler pipes!
I Serviced the car this morning and I noticed what I understand maybe the oil cooler pipes! Please can u confirm these are the oil cooler pipes! If so has anyone got the part number for them.Re: Please help! Maybe oil cooler pipes!
yes they are the oil cooler pipes going to the front air/oil radiator.
Took a while to get oriented there - picture taken from below with the undertray removed
Also that rubber bung/seperator in the third image (or the second.. the first two seem the same
) - thats the thing that is supposed to be cable tied into position to stop it moving exactly where it's moved too. Where the cable ties are is the location where the pipes can rub and split.
As you have the undertray off - could you get a good pic of how the pipes connect to the engine block?

As an aside, I can see my pipes (the badly corroded bit in the top pic) through the front grill and they don't look anywhere near that bad.

Thanks for your help! I will get these changed in the next week! It is a must have. Plus I need a new under tray as the snow ripped it off last week!
