They look like wood. Guess they're phenolic ? Also you'll have two new sets of gaskets right?

Love the car. Wish I could have had an avus avant.

They are Phenolic, but i alos saw the packet and thought....oh boy.
Tried to capture the material in the close up pic...they took a month to get the CNC-ing right and precise but all sorted now.

So they coem with just one set of gaskets, the other set the carbon cleaning company provide, so there is a gasket on either side on the spacer.

Must say i do love the Avus avant...Avus doesnt seem to be popular here...most guys comment that they like the avant, just prefer it in black, sprint or red..

Best "mod"; so far.....is a carbon clean

More pics to come but 63kms on the clock and it was a wet sticky goo mess!

I pulled the port spacers out for good and can feel the low end torque difference already, little mini kick at 2.5k revs and 4.5k now!

She pulls hard right through the range now and my fuel consumption has dropped considerably in just 4 days of driving and I have been pushing it! The whole character of the car is different! If I had known this a while back, it would have been first on my list

More pics to come when carbon doctor pops them over to me
