your calculations are spot on for the rear.

At first glance the only workable option seems to be ET25.
However, your best bet might be to try the 42 with a spacer.
ET42 and a 10mm spacer will give you the equivalent of ET32 so 22mm less clearance on the inside and stick out an extra 16mm on the outside.
an 8mm spacer will give you 24mm less on the inside and an extra 14 on the outside
a 12mm spacer will give you an 20mm less on the inside and an extra 18mm on the outside.

I don't know which one of these is best as I have no idea how much clearance there is on the inside of the rears. Certainly i know that a 10mm spacer on the rear with OEM wheels is a nice amount to stick out. This can be achieved by using the ET42 wheel with a 6mm spacer, however, you will need 26mm of extra space on the inside.

Mike are these not pretty much the same as the ones on the lowered car pic above?

No they are not pretty much the same, they are the same (except for the colour of course).
I think he has the 360 Forged Mesh 8 on the front and thr Mesh Concave on the rear.

Cheers mikefish, I'll try and get under the car in the next day or two and try to establish how much inner clearance there is currently on my OEMs running 275/30/19s, then factor in the slightly larger diameter, etc to see if an ET25 20 x 10.5 would sneak in there. 15mm less inner clearance hopefully won't be an issue. Going for a different offset with spacer and losing 22mm - 26mm on the inner clearance might be though...

Need to think about 'useable' offset really as these will be our initial demo set, so will be looking to sell them on after a short while of running them.

you will need a ramp rather than a jack. If you jack the car up the wheels will be in a lower than normal position and you wont be able to measure the clearance.

Looking around there is about a grand difference between the concave (more expensive) and the standard mesh 8.

I will have a look over the next day or so.

What sort of price you thinking?

Maybe a couple of grand hence why those are out of my league. Luke said he got them cheap (promotional business thing) at about £5K. Even at that price that is far too much!

Might be worth importing then from the US found normal mess 8's for 600 bucks and the concaves for 1650 bucks. Can't see it getting to your target price. Guess its just going to be a case of keep checking eBay :D

To be honest I prefer the standard wheels anyway and I am sure you like them enough to stick with them at least for now :D

Mention them to the wife buddy maybe this year it will be wheels for Xmas haha!

what i did on my last car was order the rears which will be fine as a concave because they will clear the rear calipers, in the correct rear offset, and then try them on the front, you can see if they fit and what ffset you will need, the wider the wheel the more concave ( if you want concave rims) and should work out the same clearance as the spokes move outwards towards the rim to give more clearance

I do like the OEM wheels a lot still, I have considered the same but in a 20" version. Some on Ebay.de in matt black, with the right offset too.
Looking at the 20" Rotors too. Although I dont really like the rotors, I do think they look nice in a 20" and look quite mean on an RS5 or RS4.

LOL, the wife would kill me if I got those wheels; she wanted a set a couple of weeks ago but I told her the coudlnt get the concaves on her car (wheels too narrow) and she'd be stupid to spend that much on a set of alloys (she only uses the car for an 8 minute drive to the station). So she ended up buying a set of BBS CH-Rs then said if I spent all that money on a set of wheels after telling her not to she'd kill me!

has anyone done this now? found some wheels i like but they only come in 10.5 wide, ive seen a rs4 with the same wheels on from overseas so they must fit, i also spoke to design 4 automotive and said they had no scrubbing at all on 10.5s they were on 19s tho, would the 20 have any other problems?

Recently seen this post when looking into getting a set of 20" Vossen's and they are running 10.5 x 20" all corners. Anybody here achieved this as I'm interested in going for it myself.
