So Apart from LC - which I'd like! (Got it on B5 with flat shift - good fun! ) no where else to go for relatively little outlay.
Which is Fine by me!

Only thing I need to look into it the torque limiter which I've heard about and the fact that it shouldn't be there after MRC stage 2 map.
No big issue though - just turn traction of most of time anyway.
There's no torque limiter either

10.1 quarter and 198mph at vmax in the gtr it's quick but I'm bored of now it's off shortly as ordered new x5 to replace it

Must be traction then but don't Always catch the light flicking....which made me think it was the limiter.

New x5? Nice looking thing, sick of quick cars then or taking a break!
GTR sounds wicked fast.
I'd love one... Not yet though, prob next car unless I get back into a 911 (PDK turbo)
Got to wait for kids to be todding though I think - then they can squeeze themselves in the back!

JHM map includes launch control. It's VERY effective and easy on the car. It's not just a secondary rev limiter. It's a pretty cool setup that modulates throttle through launch rpms so you don't spin the tires too much.

You can hear it here... Camera car has JHM tune.

I know this is a old post, new to rs ownership, thought it seemed a bit flat so tried this tonight, 1/3rd of a tank of fuel

Best was 8.0 worst 8.5 average 8.2.
Full miltek with sports cats, and I presume mapped to suit, bought the car as it is.

Does this seem about right? What kind of power would you guys estimate?

Thanks.

I'm no expert but I'd say that about right for a 380-390 car.

I think! Seen aome at high 7's but I think those are the stage 2 cars.

Keep me honest though guys.

Funnily enough I have just logged mine tonight after carrying out my carbon clean last weekend.

Stage 2 map, 100cell cats etc and its just logged in on the VCDS at 7.91 seconds.

Im well chuffed, that's a massive difference to the last time I logged it.

Where I am is basically sea level. It was with just over half a tank and a 18-19 degree evening.

It was done after I did a carbon clean with walnut shells. Will log it again in a few weeks and see how it compares once the ecu has re-learnt.
