When in NAV, press the NAV-INFO soft key on the RNS-E and scroll until you see the position/altitude information.

Why have i not done this in ages, time to nip out for a late night run!

Went and had a look to see the numbers I had last time:

18 Jun, 2011
K&N filter & cat back non res valved milly (No carbon clean)
So got 2 runs in, car was warmed up and had half a tank.
Run 1 - 8.7
Run 2 - 8.7

I need to do this - my car is completely stock and to my knowledge never been carbon cleaned. So the results would be interesting (not to mention probably a bit depressing)! Out of interest, what sort of speed would you be doing hitting 8k revs in 3rd?

Well I did the test, just to let you know the car is standard no mod's, that im aware of, and the sports button was not switched on, and two people in the car.

first run....8.5secs
second run....9.1secs
third run....8.9secs

As you can see there is a fair discrepancy in the times, but looks to be average of high 8s and as far as i know it has not been carbon cleaned.

Just been out and had a go at this test!! I really enjoyed it!! :biggrin3:

My times:
1st - 9.2
2nd - 8.8
3rd - 8.9
4th - 9.1

Temp was 11.5 deg. The car is completely standard and as far as I can make out never had a carbon clean!! And sport button wasn't pressed.

Theses times seem about right?

I'm about 54m above sea level according to google!! Would that make much difference?

Might have to try it again and see if I can get a better average!!

Looks like a carbon clean and remap might be on the cards sooner rather than later!!

I'll try and drop a few test results in for comparison wrekka...
Sure I've seen 100-200 at 5.8. Probably not as slippery though when done!
I've not used the timer buttons yet so will have to work out how to use them and find some flatfish road to have a play

100-200 at 5.8 is debatable! They hummed and hawed when I ran my 6.2 on Xbox. Doug ran a 6.8 I'm sure

Haha just remembered you have my old car!
