With regards to food, would it be possible for you to pre-order? For a party of this size it really helps the kitchen and ensures a better service for yourselves.

You could limit the menu to the 3 roasts of the day and a vegetarian option perhaps?

Further to my calls to Eileen and yourself, I would like to confirm our attendance at your hotel for the above event on Sunday July 24th at around midday.



There are currently 30+ cars expected to attend and there is every likelihood that this will increase as we near the actual day. Working on 2 persons per car, you can therefore expect 60+ persons for lunch/snacks around 1pm. Is it possible to have a 'private area' sectioned off for parking? It would be nice to have us all together.

I'll forward this mail to Iain who started this off. He's an Angus resident and somewhat further away than I so he may be in touch for further info. In the meantime we're all looking forward to the visit - your car park should look spectacular. There is also the possibility that someone from the Audi magazines may attend as I think that never before will there have been such a large gathering of single marque RS4's in the UK.

Forgot to mention - the hotel have 19 rooms available for the Sunday night if anyone is interested in staying over. I'm sure they'lll negotiate a special rate.

Anyone local have any contacts within Audi York or Audi Harrogate? They're the nearest dealerships and they may wish to send a car or display of some sort. I've spoken to Glen (Revolution) and he's sorting the Audi press side of things.

What more can we think of?

YES! I've just spoken to Nicole and it is now definetely confirmed. Additionally, they are offering a discount on pre booked accommodation. There are 19 rooms available and basically they are offering ALL rooms at the lowest priced room rate. So the quicker you book, the higher the spec of room you should get! The cost is £120 PER COUPLE including breakfast which seems pretty fair to me. Be easiest to book it direct yourselves and quote the Audi RS4 meeting.
Also, to make their life easier and for us to get served quicker on the day, they are asking for numbers/menu selections to be made in advance if possible. Might be easiest to start a new thread for this with all your names on it then you can add your menu selection to it unless anyone can think of a better way of doing this?
