I'm not sure about the pipe work needed to come off that for it not to be a concern in the real world driving and something hitting it being so close to the rear of the front wheel/driveshaft, but hay let see how this plays off.

I'm far to skeptical for this thread, I just cannot see that ever working, well not without being so over-compromised that a supercharger package would end up a better solution. Happy to be called a hater, I'm out.

the turbos are well above the subframe about 2.5 inch above,so more then enough clearence,the pictures don't show well,so no problem with speed bumps
the fabricators know what the doing and I'm there every step of the way with them ,you be surprised how much room is down there,the compressor housing is going to be machined also,and clear the drive shaft with room to spare

I guess some sort of shielding would be put in place to protect components from heat build-up?

yes a aluminum skid plate with loover will flow some air and give another protection
