If you wanna keep DRC what about fitting H&R springs? There's also a good air ride system now :)

Yeah, I thought about H&R springs. Thought I'd be boring and keep it all Audi. About these air springs - are they the dampers too?

Stating the obvious here, but if anyone has any hangups about ride height then this isn't the upgrade for them. Go KWv3 (or similar).
SS+ is too high on the front, KW is the only way to go IMO
I upgraded my SS+ to KWv3's for that very reason...

A couple of forum members have got the H&R springs and still think it sits a tad too high at the front. They are going with B5 top mounts to help rectify this. I can't see a slightly thinner top mount causing any issue personally. The B5 RS guys did something very similar by fitting S4 top mounts to their Bilstein B12 kits with good results. Equally the M3 guys have similar mods. I can't help thinking this could also be the answer for SS+ cars.

On another note, I fitted the SS+ rear ARB the other evening after reading Stu's glowing review and I'm very happy. Increased turn in and less roll is more than apparent, however the ride is still very compliant and there is no harshness if you hit some of the more unavoidable potholes. I found H&R and Hotchkis had that affect on previous Audi's but they benefitted so much from the upgrade that the downsides where more than acceptable.
