It's still such a good looking car!

The RS4 always looks good when travelling at speed.
I noticed the fog light grills have been removed. And there is some writing on the rears doors. And is that a boot spoiler?
Just like mine. Same wheels and size ;)

Looks lovely!
Thanks! Well, California law requires it, but I just can't bear myself to do it! I do have the Rare Earth magnets on my plate so I can slap it on when I'm parked on the street.
I used to have the same thing. I think I did a diy for it about 6 years ago in my old s4

Did it on my rs4 too... Until I went through a car wash and forgot to take it off. The car wash took it off for me .

That was 2 years ago, and I haven't been stopped for no front plate since for whatever reason. Knock on wood. I will likely get a ticket tomorrow now. :x

I agree! These can be bought from your audi dealer:

8K0698221A "R.S. Logoplatte"

Part number is per 1 plate & 2 springs (2 sets are needed for the rear axle).

Is that for the decal or for the actual metal plate please mate?

Guys, if you read just a few pages back these rear calliper questions have already been asked and kindly answered by Rob-S.

Not sure it's that clear Sam. Does the above part number get you the kit: "Each kit includes 1 RS cover and 2 metal clips" or RS logo stickers?

But yes you are correct, it's not often RS246 threads go off topic :smile_smoking:

Anyway that Daytona looks great. Pretty sure it's a Capristo exhaust too, which sound like thunder.

Its a aluminum plate (black with RS decals on it) + 2 metal springs.
2 appr.9,5-10mm holes need to be drilled into the calipers to fit these.

Thanks Rob, much appreciated. So the logo is stamped on the plate itself. I was hoping it would be a separate part number for the decal, so I could redo the fronts and add the same decals.

Perhaps a separate "decals" topic should be opened instead:)

For the front caliper no original decals are available but at Ebay there are original size/color decals for sale. I bought some from this seller:

As well as the looks, I like the strengthening lip (i think that's what it's for) on the inside. They look sturdy.
