Admitting you have a problem is the first step. I have been fine since I weaned myself off the crystal meth....

It is nice when you find a frame you have been looking ages for.

I always wanted a Cove STD Mk2 but never ever found one in the U.K.

Went to Whistler in September and stopped in at Cove's shop on the drive up and there she was, a medium STD in white (my colour of choice) up on the wall. Last one they had.

Was still there a week later when we stopped in on our way to the North Shore so I bought it.

Best handling frame I have ever had. Not the lightest, newest or best looking but I will never sell it, she is a keeper.

Ok seen as you asked, I have a foes XCT5 with full Curnutt. A Storck Fascinario 0.7 a pinarello Dogma think 2 an S-works epic disc and the frame I have just bought is the last of the limited edition Storck Organic lights in white and carbon.

In the loft I also have a rare Porsche bike FS evolution, it's a collectors piece now.

Bit like my RS4, old, heavy and not really that fast by todays standards but the car has so much character I will never sell it either.

I have an Orange Big-T and a
San Andreas Mountain Cycle tucked away at my folks.

Would love an E46 M3 CS but could never find a manual let alone a good manual!

Why do you want a CS it's just a normal m3 with a purple rack and bigger front discs??

Get onto Trups on here to sort out any lighting needs. If you're anywhere near Wellingborough, you can get the headlights sorted at his while you wait. If not, he might be able to do something on exchange.
Nice storage!!

That is a nice collection you have there sir but to be honest none of them really appeal to me.

Works of art for sure but to me they would be like sleeping with a supermodel. Beautiful, lean sculptures with huge braggin rights but at the same time, strangely cold, high maintenance and you would be scared to ride them hard in case you break them.

A Cove on the other hand (any one of the range will do) is like the token straight member of a womans rugby team. Pretty in a slightly rough around the edges kind of way, tough as fcuk and will make you gurn like a monkey all night long :biggrin2: And afterwards when you are lying in a broken mess, it will dust itself off and go next door and hump your mate.

I thought the CS had different dampers etc? If it is just a rack change that opens up options.

FYI a c6 rs6 is only 500kgs heavier than a 997 turbo. Not 1000kgs+ as you elude to. ;)

Do you track any of your cars?
Only 500 kg and some optional extras, please mate know when you are beat!!
Fair enough.

My Peugeot would have made your Porsche look like you'd left the handbrake on 30-130 though. But don't worry - since then I've just had a string of slow old Audis so I'm beat now ;)

Did you not want to answer the "do you track your cars" question then?

I used to do lots of track days in the past, but I have not done one for at least a few years, I did promise myself a ring trip this year with a few mates though.

You should come. Banter / BS aside its always good to meet another RS owner :)

I'm booked on 5 so far this year (and I do UK track days about once a month) so if you do start to plan going then do post when and we'll hook up. Oh er! Easter already has at least two of us there. :)

There's a few meets coming up depending on where you are in the country.

Wow now that's a roller coaster of a thread!

Love the 997, looks awesome, if I can sort out the taxman that's what I'll have for the garage next.

Are you ready boys.... I still have a soft spot for m3s too :) come on Ross, I know you're going to disown me again :( but the new ones just been giving a completion pack ;)

I'm hoping to get out to the ring first weekend in May. Must check the dates from the other thread! Taking the 996 though.... You know how we feel about c6s at the ring!
