I'm sure it will get sorted very soon
You could always notify your ins company to get a reduced premium for de-tuning. Mine were quick to increase mine when I gained just 11 hp after remap in July.
Gone and miss very much

I tried that when I had my insurance renwed. He asked for the total increase and i said it has had a 5% detune so I should get a discount but he wan't having any of it.

Also, I have used momemtum 99 every time I've filled up and a year after my mods, the car had only dropped 1bhp mrc versus AmD dyno).

Thanks for all the valuable info guys!
This has to be one of the most informative threads I have read!
Hopefully might participate in one of these events in the future if its held a bit further North!
And once I'm back on the road :redrs4:
Just checked google maps 689 miles each way for me!!

As has been pointed out spending to boost bhp is proving false economy unless going full out for a blower!
From the results I have now decided to cancel the remap and gutted pre cats!
Still pondering whether or not to leave the Revolution intake on or not, just got the replacement dry filter last week, looks and sounds awesome though!

Have been unable to hit the road as I'm on a 6 month ban which ends last week in January!
One of my mate takes her out on occasions but not the same being a passenger!

:ban: :ban: :ban:

Thats a very nice plot above 2500rpm Graeme4130,not what i was expecting.ok zip below 2500 is not good for real world driving but very nice n linear above that, hoop dyno felt like it wasnt strong till 5500rpm so it just goes to show!

I think there an element of feeding in the throttle on the RR under 2.5 as it certainly doesn't feel stepped in its curve if I'm dawdling at 1000rpm abs plant my foot
Admittedly, RS4's are never a low down grunt car, but that graph shows 15bhp at 1500rpm ?

I reckon b8s4 + MRC = 492 BHP is a good move if you want more power

That is strange Graham - A few have been like that - sounds like a vacuum leak in yours and Gino's cases. To lose that amount in such a short time must point to this area. It should be a relatively quick fix so hope it gets sorted for you both. ;-)

The dynos seemed to be in sync with MRC as Silas had recently had some work done and came in pretty much the same.

I came in at 411 from a 447 at MRC last year so I suspect my main losses are carbon as I tend to use it for shorter journeys, ferrying the kids around etc.. It still it pulls well, I get the kick at 5.5K and the car is a pleasure to drive but I've concluded that chasing BHP numbers is off my radar for now...

I had a call from Audi today, they are putting my query to the head of UK or something - I told them about the figures on Sunday and they seemed pretty interested. Not expecting anything to come of it really but I'd like them to try and explain the advertised 414bhp and why no standard car seems to achieve that.

Can't remember who but someone done this a few years ago,to no avail..pretty sure audi say there are to many variables on a rolling road...the best way to see if your car is on the money is the 3k to 8k third gear test...other than that it's drive around and try and find a m3 that will have a drag race...
