Now the dust has settled...I have come to the conclusion that chasing bhp in a b7 is probably not worth it..the only ones that benefit are the tuning houses...don't want to add to much until Louie posts up the results..
Also pretty sure amd s rolling road must be pretty accurate as the non b7s were pretty much bang on the money...

Ps To YOU ALL MY CAR IS DIRTY TODAY AFTER THE DRIVE BACK...REPEAT DIRTY...I will post pics as I believe it to be rule 1 in this case..

My money is on there being a vacuum leak somewhere on both cars. More often than not that's the cause of such low power output on the B7.

It had not been on the rollers at all before.he said he was expecting about six hundred...hopefully he will post and let you know the full score on what and how he has had things done....

Back to what I said at the top of the page about chasing extra horses....now that the figures have been put up...
Most of the modded cars stage1/2..amd/mrc tuned (mine included)had lost power..mine was dynoed at amd a few months ago and made 434. Yesterday it made 414.5.. Is it worth all the money we spend, when you had stock motors with various mileage from early twenties to 70k getting 370 to 390..I am running stage 1 and was thinking of stage 2 but I am not going to bother as it seems all the modded cars lose some of that extra( expensive costing) power within six months.. :?

im (almost) completely useless when it comes to anything mechanical, but one thing that stuck with me when reading up on these cars is the importance (?) of filling up with decent petrol. i know for sure that I and the previous owner (also ex forum) ran this car religiously on vpower.

i guess my question to you guys running mods, do you keep to the same food? ive also read somewhere that you need to reset the ecu to get the best out of higher octane but that could also be complete bollox.

anyway, now I have won this coveted prize,im gonna retire somewhere hot,,maybe...
