Custom-Code Phase 1 - Customers Review
Good results and in line with what I'd expect too. I'll be at inters this year so I might come see you guys. Out of interest, what else can be tweaked with the map? I'm guessing the speed limiter is raised? I'm also considering the JDE map - the lower cold start rev limiter and having the valves always open in sport mode are a nice option. Could you guys do the same with your software?
I have yet to see or hear of a genuine B7 RS4 do 420 standard. That car doesn't exist any more than a re-mapped B7 will achieve 450.
Why these people claim such rediculous and unachievable figures is beyond me. As it has been said here many times now, the only way to boost the performance of NA car to these levels is to add to the fueling, by way of a supercharger, NOS or Turbo. I aggree that changing the aggression of the throttle position and the % that it is changed will alter the way the power is delivered but not to the point that some of these claims say.
I spent a shed load of time and money dealing with my own issues and won't trawl them up but this is an argument that those who know what they are talking about steer well clear as its a roadabout of BS and those who fall for the wild power increases deserve to lose the money that they pay out for this work.
If your looking to increase your power by around 8% and the way the car delivers the power, especially mid range, go for it otherwise enjoy the car as is and save your money.

Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but Audi claim the car is 414 - 420, with this upgrade you are getting near enough an extra 25 bhp, does that not make it 440??? If they put on their website Audi RS4 B7 385bhp upgrade to 410bhp everyone would be slagging them off saying they don't know what the standard power of an RS4 is. They can't win!! If Audi say the car is 414 then from what i've seen thier map adds enough bhp to now say that the car is 440bhp.
Current car..... hmmmmm????

Did you ever get this done rAudiguy? If so, what did you think?rAudiguy wrote:Hi Guys,
Just had a long chat with James at CC, very helpful and certainly knows what’s he’s talking about. Rather than making blind comments on the thread with no real knowledge of what they do or how they do it, why don’t you take 5 minutes to give the guys a call or drop them an email and find out the facts? I plan to go up and see them in the next week or so. At the end of the day as said above BHP is just a number if the car feels more responsive and there is a noticeable improvement happy days!! I look forward to reporting on my experience with them very soon. Good or bad I will give a fair opinion on their service and product. My gut reaction though is that I’m going to drive away with a big fat smile on face![]()

The Audi page of their website is blank - no prices, no details - not very impressive.RS4Molar wrote:strattford upon avon. www.dnatuning.comMarcus-RS4 wrote:Where are they based?

Impressive tune IMHO.
Have a chat, really does understand how to custom tune a car for you, but don't take my happy advice, give the lad a call.
