Good recommendation about MRC remap too. I will certainly go for that

I don't mean to be a copy cat but looking at the spec of your RS4, I note you have K/W Springs. I really wanted to get an RS4 with Sports Suspension Plus cos the car just looks wicked when dropped but unfortunately I didn't find one with that option so I decided to lower mine. I've been looking into either going for a full coilover setup or just using the OEM DRC shocks and fitting the height adjustable springs package from K/W.

Did you go for coilovers or just the springs on your car?
yes the difference in power is amazing :biggrin3:

i agree mate, especially at the front; with standard suspension the front just sits too high to give a really good stance. i went for the k/w lowering springs and kept the DRC and for me this has been the best mod i have done for the look and feel of the car. the car just feels so much more grounded on the road and looks so much better. have you got spacers already, if not def recommended as well for the look of the car...

Awesome, another mod recommended - cheers mate!

No not got spacers but been considering these too - a little lower on the priority list though. I saw somewhere that 20mm spacers would risk the tyres touching the arch if the car was dropped so 15mm would be better

What are your spacers? Could you post some pics of your car?
Currently - nothing!

i am having a few troubles today with the sizing of the images but here's one for you to see the stance of the springs and spacers

Defo the right combination to do. Did you do change the exhaust and do the precats at the same time? or did you do the mods individually?

Who did you use for the mods? Unit 20? MRC? I've heard great reviews about both companies

Sorry to bombard with questions. I'm new to the RS4 modding scene :)

Ta
thanks mate :) yeah it certainly has had a lot of great feedback :)

i had the exhaust and precats done at the same time at AMD but used MRC to do the Carbon Clean along with their Stage 2 Remap. i really like the MRC map as they change the throttle map depending on whether you are in sport mode or not. I also had been driving around unknowingly with 340HP so MRC put that right and when i left it was pushing 431 and that difference felt massive!!

What was your fault for only running 340 bhs if you don't mind me asking

hard to believe but Doug at MRC said it was just in need of a Carbon Clean, I only paid for that and a remap to be fair and it was then 431 so not sure if the map cured any other issues but I wasn't told of any?

it was pretty carboned ha this is what they pulled out
