I wish I had a local guy like Grizz

I'll buy it off ya.TonyHayers wrote:Hrm, thanks for the comments everyone. I suppose there's definitely a financial case for getting it fixed based on the value I'd lose part-ex'ing. Think I'm just disillusioned with it atm.
Grizz: what days are you open next week? and what loan cars have you got?
DRC sorted now, it just doubled in value :pGolfather wrote:I'll buy it off ya.TonyHayers wrote:Hrm, thanks for the comments everyone. I suppose there's definitely a financial case for getting it fixed based on the value I'd lose part-ex'ing. Think I'm just disillusioned with it atm.

For bottom book
I just didn't really do my homework tbh, I had a couple of test drives and it seemed good. Engine's sweet as a nut. I got some money knocked off for the worn bolster (which appears to be the case on everyone's car) and other bits and bobs, but the rest discovered later on. That V8 sound just sucked me in and my hand produced the visa card before I knew what had happened.sonny wrote:Glad you got the DRC issue sorted. Reading all the problems on your sig that your car has, im amazed you even purchased it. Goes to show there are some dogs around. Bradford area seems to produce a lot of them. That area always seems to get flagged on this forum.
Im glad you have found a new love with your car Tony
I am into the 6th year of ownership with my RS4, I have had a few problems but no where near as many as mentioned in your sig. Was you aware of the problems before you purchased the car?

yeah I have read that. But when you are going for a test drive its hard to pick up if the car feels not right when braking/cornering. Being a new rs4 driver, I'll be like a kid behind the wheel. I will ofcourse take extra care, but am worried I will end up with a big bill.sonny wrote:Sc0rian wrote: From what I have read, isn't it just pot luck?

Ok, here's a few thoughts based on what I've learnt recently:Sc0rian wrote:its intresting reading what you are saying TonyHayers, I am the same. I will go view one, hear that lovely v8, see the lovely arches and will already be signing the cheque.
As a I'm a new rs4 buyer, I am worried about this issue too. Can you give me some advice when going to view one, how will i ever know? From what I have read, isn't it just pot luck?

In fact it is NORMAL for the rear to be lower than the front.MikeFish wrote:Also, in my experience it is not unusual for the rear or the car to be sitting lower than the front.
