My suspicion is provided the chamfer on the wheel is equal or more than the bevel on the spacer they will fit fine, just have a little less "hub-centricity" but certainly would like to know for sure !

I think the A's are right for are cars and the B's are incorrect (hopefully find out for sure tomorrow,) But i am sure that taking the 1mm of the inner part of spacer were it comes to a stop on the hub will be fine as well because as i have said before they fit perfectly when i mod ed the spacers, perfectly on the hub and perfectly in the wheel with a 45 bevel, Scottie if yours are not fitting right against hub you need to mod them or not fit them i know its not much of a gap but they should fit100% flush, (I agree with statement above as well)

Just checked the boxes that mine came supplied in last year.

Rear. 10mm : 2055571A
These fit perfectly
No Lip

Front. 8mm : 1655572
Again, these fit perfectly.
No Lip

All (inc longer bolts) from Virdee.

Right first time !

OP... you had the wrong spacers for a B7 RS4.

I've said this previously in the thread and I'll say it again

When you check for compatibility, the RS4 is listed as being applicable to both part numbers

It only comes from experience and trying them on the car first hand for us to provide the correct ones!

The reason the OPs didn't fit properly was because the protrusion off the hub flange was too large for the spacer and thus wouldn't sit flush against the hub/disc.

The difference the bevel angle/length creates is this clearance. From memory one has 14mm clearance and the other 15.5. We need the 15.5mm versions as our hub protrusion (again from memory) is around the 15mm mark

Hope that clears things up.

MB2 wrote:Well have just had a look at a spare wheel, and the depth where the bevel locates is 5mm so I would say a 5mm bevel is the correct fit. Of course a longer bevel would just protrude through the wheel so wouldn't be a problem there, however the hub fit would be off. My guess is the 4mm bevels I have on the rear are not quite seated correctly although guess would have to measure the hub to be certain and work out the consequences.

I was measuring with a steel rule so it is hard to be certain but looking at the fit as well as the ruler I am pretty sure 5mm is spot on. Arthur did you measure the wheel itself as you measured 7mm, but I have only got 5 mm so maybe I am wrong ?

Edit - just realised I was measuring the height of the alignment ring not the bevel itself - I make the bevel inside the wheel 11mm.
if a triangle the base and hieght are 7 mm and the hypotonuse is 10 mm, give or take
the guy with a set of 6.5 x 45 and 7 x 45 is so close it's probably fine

I can make out from the TUV doc our cars are 7x45 bevel

on the spacer itself
7 x 45?

edit: measured oem wheel bevels with a mic
height = base = 7
hypot = 9.9 or so
bore + 2 bevels = 71.1
bevel = (71.1 - 57.1)/2 = 7
ours are 7 x 7 or 7 x45

many markings on the wheel
one is H7, perhaps the bevel spec? ISO won't let me access doc ISO 3911:2004 Wheels and rims for pneumatic tyres -- Vocabulary, designation and marking
