I think the TTS kit hands down - great linear power boost with no nasty transmission killing spikes, relatively economical under normal conditions and no exhaust turbines so still have the great v8 sound.
I don't think there are any downsides except ultimate power figures could be lower than a twin turbo solution.

It's not about peak hp for me it's torque I know there's possibly another kit coming out that will make huge torque ( in theory ) so not sure tbh. Twin turbo appeals because it's different tts appeals because someone else has done all the legwork and perfected it instead of me. The tts kit doesn't feel Linear when it's been driven hard at all it's instant power all the way to the redline with no tail off it's very well thought out

Stock Bonnet will fit no problem. Im not venting the bonnet just now - so we can see how it performs.

Go on Danny, perfect the twin turbo conversion so all bases are covered!
The TTS will be a nice kit though..

Got Doug on it Lee but tbh the b7 is becoming boring for me. Worst thing I done was build that b5 the b7 is so tame and boring

Ah, so the real challenge is to make the b7 just as/more scary than the b5!

If the tts kit or twin turbo can make sweat/shake like I do after a b5 ride then I'll keep it mate 100%

Just to give a quick update. Doug at mrc had his rs4 back last night with the prototype rs4 supercharger kit fitted. Will hopefully have some numbers in the coming days.

Just thought I would share a couple of build pics with you. (Please bear in mind that being the prototype there are some small items that are not up to production spec yet, namely the water hoses coming out of the charge cooler as these will be made in one piece for production)
Hi everyone.

Doug gave the RS4 kit a good shakedown at ADI on Saturday. It certainly looked the car to beat on track, even taking on the R8 GT. Pity no one had a camera. Sounded awesome. I'm sure he will be posting some power curves shortly. I understand it was in excess of 600ps. :)

I was there at ADI and this car sounded amazing on track. I had a close look at the installation and it looks spot on, very good work.

Forgot to ask for a PAX ride, just as well really as it would prob make me want one! :thumb:

Would it impact on the s/c if standard cats were used rather than hi-flow / gutted ones? I realise the numbers will be lower but more concerned by air flow in vs out and pressure.

We were still mapping it and prepping the car at 10pm on friday, so I was really glad we got it to ADI. I have to say it perfromed beyond what I expected. We were going into 6th gear at avon rise, before quarry and into high revs in 5th going to Tower Corner.

I got taken off for being too loud on my 6th session - but I think that was more the other car I was beside becasue it was not questioned before that and I got back on track after. I think we did 9 or so sessions. Oil temps never went above 124 degrees C. I was driving fast but not to teh limit of the car as it was the first time I tracked a b7 with this much power.

Here is the video of what we got from the car on the friday night:

And a plot of a couple of the best runs - it does a consistant 610 run after run:

Excellent results Doug. What do you believe to be the reasons on why it doesn't produce as much Torque as the S5 you have developed, 617 vs 651? Is that just down to mapping and you are still tweaking to get more torque out of the RS4?
