Yes - good for me. Mine is a bit louder than standard though if that Ford GT is there mine is practically silent by comparison !

5th of June it is then :beerchug:
looking forwards to seeing your cars and meeting you both
what time does it start and what time will you be in?

PS: Booked my car with Sandyford again this Friday, will change the 2 sweaty shocks, Audi Ireland will take 50% off cost, Audi Sandyford the other half as we have replaced Madame's X5 for a new A6 (ordered there this morning)
I will also do the Front disks and pads + 8 sparks plugs :blackrs4:

all is well then! :thumb:

Result !

I usually head up to Cherrywood for about 11.

@edge - I havent had it on a dyno over here. Last time was at Surrey RR where it made an unwell sounding 360ish bhp thanks to valves not seating properly due to CB. Then MRC got their hands on it and although I haven't RR'd it since my butt dyno tells me I am getting at least what God intended.

yes, I would like to have mine measured as well, I believe we are to expect around 380 bhp with no modification... that's far from the 414 we thought we bought..
hopefully with the new sparks plug she will do at least the 380...

Once I have disgested the cost of the new disks etc... I would be really interested to talk to MRC too
So be prepared for the flow of questions to answer Jacks4

Incidentally, I talked to DMS tuning a year or so ago for a wee upgrade of 30 bhp and a bit more torque and get rid of the speed limit, they have an antenna in Northern Ireland apparently, they were looking for 850 sterling for that job... that could be interesting too?

A remap on its own will not give you +30bhp or anything like it. I would guess at least 20bhp of that kind of gain will be coming from mucho expensive physical modification like intake and CATs/exhaust work.

They sent me the gain and quote by email but I can't find it...

here is the link to their website and chart, and I remember the price quoted being 850 sterling
now it was over a year ago, so it would be worth checking again,
I have just sent them an email to enquire again

DMS have a fantastic reputation but I just don't believe you can get +36bhp (per their site) from a remap alone. Somebody here at one point had a DMS remap (??) maybe able to comment.

I don't exactly remember what was involved, all I remember was the gain and price
hopefully they will answer my query shortly

edit: I think it's +26 BHP, providing the car is at 414 (which we all know is not)

Got DMS on the phone: +26bhp, +30lb/ft torque - speed limiter off 8)
the improvement is mainly below the 4,000 rpm range, where RS4 can lack punch somewhat,
all this is done through a remap and that takes just about 2 hours
They come to Northern Ireland (Lisburn) every two/three weeks so the job can be done there 8)

the contact in Lisburn is Jim, can I give his phone number on this site?

Be curious to see if there are any others out there with this remap.

First things is get the Milltek and then look at some other work!
