Lol easy

You said that milltek is better than jhm, as did silas. Based on having heard only milltek .

You claim I am being biased however I'm the only one who has objectively evaluated both by actually hearing them extensively... And if you'll read the screen for once you'll notice I didn't say anything about which sounds best. Silas and yourself are the only ones picking sides... voting for milltek over jhm without even hearing jhm!

So tell me...who is biased again?

It must be the natural frequency for the system as it is a very high volume boom. At idle it is a discrete burble and higher up it is sinister.

With the JHM tune is the cold start altered or removed to get rid of this?

On cold startup just drive the car. No need for it to sit and idle.

The boom is drone. Normal on our cross plane v8 from 1200-2000 rpm. The car cold idles at about 1700 rpm. But you shouldn't be cold idling the car. It does that not to say 'wait don't drive me.. I'm not ready' ... But rather it does so to heat up the cats quickly and help limit emissions. The true best way to heat up the cats is to get in and drive.

FYI that higher volume you hear in that drone range is inaudible outside the car. It's only the inside. Vibration/resonation turning your car into a tuning fork of sorts. Have a friend drive by you going through that range of. The throttle to see for your self. No difference outside.

Jhm tune does not eliminate the cold start higher idle. It didn't on my b7 s4 anyway.
