Yes they said 2 wheels needed refurbing so I got them to do all 4 in titan 8AU.

First place that's EVER asked me for the paint code when doing my wheels !!

Oh, and they are delivering it as its at Cardiff branch, they are delivering it to AstonMartin Park Lane .

Another benefit of viewing before its been fully prepped. At least you know the wheels will be done properly - stripped and powdercoated - rather than just having the faces wet painted as dealers do nowdays to save money.

they will be getting "wet" painted if there going L8AU, i couldn't get any where close in powder coat.

wet painting wheels properly is a much harder and more time consuming than powder coating.

Apologies - my post was ambiguous - what I meant was the wheels will be stripped and painted fully inside and out properly due to the colour change rather than the faces being 'touched up'. Dads Sportback was bought from Audi with 16k on the clock and the alloys peeled after a few years, became obvious the faces had been 'glossed over'.

wet painting dose have a bad reputation, mainly because most dealerships use a <beep> smart repair man who hasn't got a clue and paints four wheels round the back next to the bins in the wind and rain whilst still on the car in about an hour.

Nice job, not a bad second ride for you then either, especially in this weather :nodder:

I bet you didn't get any £s off the price though, test drove a Daytona avant here 2 years ago (its only 20 min's from where I live) before I purchased mine but they just wouldn't budge on cost

They do seem to prep the cars very well though, certainly seems you are getting the corrective service :)

Some nice motors to walk around whilst waiting too 8)

The RS 4 is fantastic.

Aston Martin did a major service including changing the spark plugs and brand new front brake pads !

The bodywork and interior is in excellent condition.

The wheels have come up perfect in titan 8au courtesy of the dealer. And the ceramics look epic behind them!

The Milltek sounds glorious...its a resonated non valved one, so a subtle burble...

And they even included a full tank of fuel!!

All in all...bit of a bargain I recon.
