Argon will wait until they have my bumper, have a bit play and mock-up a couple of ideas, post on the forum, seek some feed-back and we'll go from there.
The rear diffuser may be difficult as I believe that the bumper is one piece?

Come on guys, surely someone must have some input on the design? This is your chance to have a unique design for our car!

The bumper is off and I'll drop it off tomorrow at Argon.

what might work well is 2 'lip' spoilers connected by the middle splitter
basically duplicate the oem splitter and attach 2 lips on either side
that way the oem middle mounting points could be reused
so a channel would be formed between the lips

the lips would be along the lines of the e46 M3 CSL but wider to cover the whole width
perhaps not as high on the bumper and a bit more rounded on the leading edge

something along the lines of this but in CF

i dont think we need anything too outlandish but needs to look smart. I like the smooth and clean look of the dtm style splitter on Iain's but for me it's too narrow as can be seen in this pic.

if the lip was te same all the way round like on the other two pics i think that would look the business.

I agree about the same lip protrusion all the way round. I also thought about deleting the oil cooler spoiler, cutting away the centre section of the bumper underneath this area (it's only a thin piece of plastic through which 2 mounting screws are located) and then dropping down the new lip spoiler across this gap to mirror the upward rise in the line of the existing bumper. This would create an aggressive looking gap through to the oil cooler? Hope that makes sense......

What profile do you fancy? A flat underside with an upper quadrant - would look much better than a simple rectangular but rounded section?

Keep the ideas coming!

Carbon Front Splitter/Spoiler wanted

Liking Arthur's idea alot. The idea to 'indent' the splitter in the middle (and therefore remove the current oil cooler 'splitter') should make it look, as it will be, custom made. Above that if it was slightly thicker than the DTM one and followed the arch flares better then I reckon it would look great and importantly not too OTT.

something like the cupra
raise the center section to replace the oem splitter
make the lips a bit lower and pronounced, and the correct width to wrap around the bumper properly

yes, maybe raise the splitter a bit and make the lips a bit larger
and make it proprotioned and fitted properly, like an extension of the oem bumper lip

Yea - I like this a lot- If I am not mistaken the lip twists up on the ends which looks really smart - It's not too outlandish and would look great in CF - So It's a thumbs up on the design of this last one for me. [The white RS4 Avant]
