20" for looks, 19" for feel.

when i first put my 20's on i also had loba front discs fitted at the same time.
i didnt really feel the extra heft of the 20's cause i guess the weight saving on the discs was somewhat canceling out the extra weight of the bigger wheels and tyres so it didn't feel much different on the road, a bit firmer maybe but i was happy with the overall feel.

however having now gone back to my original 19" inch wheels the difference in feel is very noticeable, the steering is lighter with more feedback more adjustable the handling just feels better.

i have done both and prefer "feel" over "looks", plus tyres are cheaper as well lol. :thumb:

I ran over 5 types of wheel combo on my old R32 and to be honest was never too concerned about running chunky adapters/spacers because it wasn't in the same stable as the RS, but 35mm ones on a car with over 400hp is it really advisable?

I wouldn't run 20mm ones, maybe I'm being over cautious.
These aren't just spacers, but proper bolt on adapters with separate threaded pegs and nuts for the wheel. H&R too, and fully TUV approved so good reliable quality. I was advised against using them if the car is tracked, but I won't be running the 20s on a track anyway so not a worry really.
