Its true i know a few dodgy fcukers who have sold m5s and rs4/6s etc all unrecorded accident repairs. Very dangerous!

As everyone else has said, the ones that are cheap are cheap for a reason! I bought an e46 M3 once which was advertised with Harman Kardon, after investigation it transpired that the previous owner had fitted amps and subs etc, then removed them before sale, and not refitted all the original stuff (prob sold on ebay). Outcome was soundsystem was f**ked and BMW wanted £1600 to sort it. Great!

wow just reading this thread and the dealer I am potentially looking to buy from is from B'ham, I also had no idea its so bad there, does anyone know anything about this dealer before I go any further? certainly an interesting read!

They had a nice E55 for sale earlier this year. A friend of mine who lives locally went in to check it out and he said it was in mint condition.

Their cars always seem a bit overpriced but maybe they're worth the money.

Yes it does look like they have priced stock but in fairness they offered close to 1.5k more than anyone else on my trade in, I know its not a lot but brings the one I am potentially getting back to a better price

I found while looking for a car that the car really speaks for itself and you get a good idea from the person selling it as well. I also found that by calling the audi dealer that did the last service and asking questions they are happy help out.

I looked at 4 in Birmingham. 3 were proper lemons and 1 was mint. Unfortunately the mint one was Misano red and as nice as it looked I just didn't like the colour enough. I wouldn't let location put you off just need to go and check out the cars and sellers in person to see if they are what the advert says they are.
