Looking good Sonny, though width with spacers will be interesting as I have 10 on the rear and am lowered.

Nice Job, look perfert with the daytona, exactly what i am after, should not show up the brake dust so much either :bigblink:

Want to go 275 myself on ss+ with no spacers, just hope its not to much of a risk with rubbing like you have experienced with spacers?

Take it you have aftermarket suspension with the mention of ride height adjustment? if this is the case am i correct to assume yours sits lower than an RS4 SS+?

I reckon Titan would look excellent on a sprint blue avant!

Initially i had the car lowered 20mm al round, 10mm more than ss+, after 6 months i had it raised up by 5mm as the rears has settled and looked a little to low.

I have the 275 F1 Asy 2's in the garage (Car is currently wearing its winter rubber)

I ran them from April last year, and on large suspension loads, they do brush the wheel arch liner. It is only very occasional, and as I say, over big compressions / suspension movement. Not seen any adverse effects on either the wheel arch liner or tyres. They look fantastic from the back, as they are jsut sooo wide :rocker:

Having said that, when I come to replace them, I will return to stock 255's as other than visually, I see no benefit to the wider tyres (275's used to be cheaper, but not any more)

PS My car is on standard suspension

WOW. Any pics of the wheels in the garage, would like to see how wide they look when on the rim.

There is a screw in the wheel arch liner on the front arches only, I suspect that this is what is catching.

Crispy - thats what worried me, loading the car up for holidays etc, now im thinking going the standard 255 would be safer.

I bet the 275s do look awsome though, thats what is making me want them

Cheers Sonny. Looks like the tyre is filling the arches rather than the wheel. Purely form an asthetics point of view, do you prefer the wider tyre and no spacers or less wider tyre and spacers ?

Little update, Popped down to AMD yesterday and had the suspension raised up 5mm all round and had them double checked for correct levels. Also had the settings adjusted by 1 click bound to make it more softer.

Also had a 4 wheels alignment check done, showed that the wheels was moderately out front and rear, I had this done a year ago so just goes to show how they can go out

So cars feels a lot better to drive and is more pleasant going over bumps now :)

I will put the spacers back on the car when the weather warms up and see if it still scrubs, but at this stage im happy to leave it as it is.

Those tyres look good mate, sit nice against the rim with what looks like good rim protection :bigblink:

Now you mention it i think i will get 4 wheel alignment checked after the new tyres.

On any car with ultra low profile tyres getting wheel alignment checked after having new tyres fitted is a must IMHO.
