Ok guys (and gals)

Just spoke to Iain so we'll meet at Asda Garthdee at 1030 for an 1100-(ish) departure.

We usually gather at the bottom of the sheltered car park bit where you come in - just under the Asda sign.

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=Asda+ne ... 80.55,,0,0

If we're not loitering about around the cars, we'll be inside at the McDonalds having a cup of tea and sausage & egg McMuffin.

I'll print out the route and bring it along, alternatively PM me and I can send it to you (Don't want to give the BiB a heads up on where we're going!)

@ Paime
Bring the missus along, it won't be a total nerd fest.

My other half is still in two minds about coming but she's been before, plus she gets to drive occasionally so I can hang out the window and take photos.
LMA07 will be along too (The only female B7 owner on the forum?)
Iain - is Sue coming?

Just spoke to the bird and she's not keen due to my "undoubtedly nerdish behaviour" so I'll be on my jack jones. Looking forward to meeting you lot!

Cheers to all who turned up, and welcome to new faces MIke, Roy and Jamie.

Cars were filthy so didn't bohter getting the camera out.

2 points to note:
1. Confirmation it was a roundabout!

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=fetterc ... 47.11,,0,0

2. This means negotiating it in a CW direction not CCW! :sekret:

Yes, correct it was a roundabout and it was also a one way street/car park but... you all followed me!! I generally do roundabouts CW but, 2 wrongs make a right so took the easy way to get back on track to a look of astonishment from the woman trying to get on to the roundabout! I'm blaming the blinding sun and reflection off the icy roads for my wee detour - no harm done in the end luckily!

Was good to meet up with the guys and girls yesterday - looking forward to the next one where the road conditions might be a bit better allowing a decent run. I'll let someone else lead next time!

Glad you guys had fun and that there weren't any serious injuries! If you've got any pics it would be great to see them.

Everyone else took some photos, Roy had an SLR so will need to wait for him to post up.

My car was unwashed from the outset and utterly minging at the lunch stop so decided against photos!
Was looking forward to getting some of Iain's with the S/C but since he travelled 40 odd miles to come meet us you can imagine his was somewhat off-white on arrival.

6 cars to begin with at Asda, Paime had to do a shoot before the run as he had GF duties. Just as one Mug blue left another one turned up!

In the end we had Iain's Ibis S/C Avant, Laura's Phantom Avant, my Sprint Saloon, Mikes Mug Saloon and Roy's Phantom Saloon.

Had a nice bimble up the A90 in formation afterwards until some guy in a Rav4 or similar got himself tangled up amongst us and split us up.
Bit of rejigging to regain our formation and he backed off and decided against interfering again! :<beep>_you:

Was a great meet and a fab road. Better in dry conditions though. Nice wee race with a porker at the end too. :-)

Looking forward to the next one.
