No noticeable difference at all imo it's just when the tts gets to 4.5/5k it kicks on to another level way beyond what the pes kit could ever manage even when I ran nitrous

My guess is that it'll be lower (but more than stock)
But makes for much better 'sensible' driving manners and mpg.
And with such a cracking engine being under 4k is just criminal

My view is that for this engine this charger is by far the best stable mate.

I disagree I personally don't notice any difference. I do agree that this is the best kit out there but i've still to experience the apr kit

Well you've had experience of both types of charger now Danny so I can hardly imagine how rapid your car must be now! I've only done a few miles with mine 'cos the weathers been absolutely crap since I got the car back, but my car feels totally transformed with the PES kit. Instant awesome performance, just how you would want an RS4 to perform. If you think an RS4 is a quick car as standard (and mine was good stock car at 409bhp) then wait till you try a supercharged one! Oh, and the noise! I thought it sounded good before with the milltek resonated cat back system but now with the addition of 100 cell sports cats and the charger whine its truly a monstrous noise!
Really keen to get a run in your car Danny to see the difference, or maybe thats not a good idea, because knowing what I'm like, I know I will end up doing the same as you haha!

Some good info there Danny, sounds awesome! Does the B7 gearbox still cope with the power? I know you said you'd had the cogs hardened, but even so?

Gearbox will be fine the way the tts kit delivers power theres no real stress low down so a stock box will be fine. i'm making the same power as i did with nitrous but with the current set up i can use the power everyday more easily. still try a few things on the kit with the help of doug and tts it will only get better. watch this space

The TTS looks a gorgeous piece of kit.
Tell me Danny, do you find this runs a lot cooler than the PES ?
I've been "dreaming" of a SC since seeing your PES last summer. (It'll probably never happen).
Also, it looks to me like the TTS would be a very quick install, so why do the likes of MRC need the car for so long... is this all just mapping time?

Lastly.... why oh why are they so damn expensive ?
(I realise it's precision engineering and all that but surely it's "basically" an inverse turbo strapped between the "V"... at the end of the day !?)

I think the instalation will be down to two days or so now Doug will know better, mines was longer as i was the first production kit and they were feeling there way around if you like all though they had it perfect on doug's I appreciated the extra care taken plus mapping is not easy every single car is different but mihnea is the man to talk about that not me it's not my area . I have a route I take home nearly everyday on this route my pes was hot too touch the tts is cold so it runs cooler. I can't comment on the price but i'm sure it adds up, the tts is all billet which isnt cheap then the blower the oil cooler custom fuel lines etc etc not top mention the two years in research and development

Thanks Danny for the view of it. You say "tts kit delivers power theres no real stress low down". Do you mean that low down torque is quite limited on the TTS kit and only really builds as you gain RPM? Same reason why audi put limiter on 1-3 on the stock tune to protect the box from torque?

The torque isn't limited or low it's just more linear and less brutal than the pes low down but i'd say there on a par it's just the tts delivers it better, it's a grown up's supercharger kit.
