They are 6.8 ohm so would work for the DRL's but will get very hot. I'm running 6.8ohm 50w in my DRL's and they still get very hot despite being at half capacity. For number plate bulb you need 36 ohm resistor. I just put a 36 ohm resistor across the terminals that hold the bulb in the oem unit and just changed the bulb to LED. I only had to do one thou as my left hand one is already led with reverse camera.
