Was yours one of the limited Karmann cars or just more colour choice later on in their lives
I know what you mean about the Karmann cars, they were very rare special editions given to the dealerships that sold the most Corrados. IIRC they all had a tan interior and black body.
Mine's just a late normal one, not sure when that colour came in but I think you can get M reg in that colour. I think Storms are a bit hyped and I don't personally like Blue or Green paint, one shows every mark other is a bit boring!

Sadly I can't afford one as well as the RS4! In my youth it had to be a blue one (think it was called imperial blue) with 18" rondel alloys and some kind of modifications!!

I have a pretty rare South African Birkin S3, running a Nicholson McLaren 2ltr Zetec, 16v, full race cams, twin 45 webers, 197bhp and 540kg!

And my 1972 VW Karmann Ghia Coupe, in Sunburst Yellow with a 1641cc Super Street, Engle 110 Cam, Weber 32/34 Prog Carb, dropped spindles, Porsche 911 black leather interior... oh and lots of rust!!

Apart from the RS4
Audi TT, Merlin Purple, Cream leather seats, steering wheel, gearstick and handbrake
Dodge Viper GTS, Silver No stripes (went halves with the father in law :D )
And the wife and I have matching Audi Cross Mountain bikes which dont get used!!
Also get to drive the father in laws AC Cobra and Sierra RSCosworth.
Feel Very Very Lucky
