If getting map done, would get the sports cat done at the same time so it can all be setup together, as expect the standard map would put a check light on. first stage maybe cat back or just wait abd get it all done in one hit. Not sure if get any gains from the manifold/headers on these engines, made a huge difference on the scoobs/evos as well as turbo necks/up pipes/down pipes etc. But then its a bit different tuning wise coming from turbos to NA. Sokeen to hear peoples thoughts on what works best/ optimum for these engines as a stage 1 & 2 tune.

Reason I was asking is because my 100 cell milltek cats are sitting at Mrc a think there 1200 brand new I'd part with them for half that and I only had them on the car for 100 miles! I originally had just the cat back then added the cats made a nice note little deeper but raspy at the time I ran on the stock map and no engine lights or anything came on obviously having a map done at the same time would be beneficial

Sorry for the dumb question: who are MRC? I tried Google but it came back with nothing relevant to car tuning. Anybody got their website link?

Supersprint was testing a header for the RS4 and they was struggling to get any resuts out of it. There is Italian member Tweety, who I was chatting with who was working with SS on the header as I looked into this. More on this link http://audisrs.com/about13337.html&high ... upersprint

I was keeping an eye on that thread also in case they came up with a better header

I think, if there is that much effort then they have answered allready pretty much that there may not be signicant gains/ better to be had and that the stock are pretty well engineered/ matched. Maybe look elswhere for better percentage gains, but as always the sum of the components is always better than the individual parts, so could be the missing link.
But will deff follow the thread.
