So they will ask for the mileage and then you have to contribute to the Tyres ....Marky wrote:The tyres are gone, chunks missing out of the sidewalls on all of them and the thread has actually split in places.
Stolen RS4
Just time for a quick update (sic!)
Car moved to Audi garage (two weeks ago) after the insurance comapny finally agreed to this. It was assessed and now the insurance company engineer needs to evaluate and agree with the quote. I am still waiting for this to happen !!!
Apparently they are a bit busy at the moment. Ahhhh.
While trying to look on the bright side, at least the Corsa we have as a replacement is not using as much petrol and now, while gently trundling up the motorway, I can appreciate the hard shoulder and its fine collection of wildlife, random shoes and bottles of what appears to be apple juice and look at all the cars in the "fast" lane knowing that, deep down inside, they all wish they had a Corsa too.

The insurance company have given you a Corsa? That's really taking the proverbial!
Surely you can get a better car than that. When mine was off the road I got an Astra initially, but as soon as I knew it would l be away for a while I got an upgrade to a Merc C class.
If it had been long term, I'd have got an accident management company involved. This way you should be able to get a replacement car close to the standard of the RS4, and the AM Co will deal directly with your insurers.
I'm sure some on here with experience can recommend a suitable company.
