Most of the Brokers per se are enthusiasts too!! granted some lurk, but on the whole, we're only on the forums to share experiences and gather information. People should always try to achieve the best possible deal they can; these forums are the perfect place. Just my 2pence worth.

Totally agree Iain !! :)

I am an enthusiast first, and have been here on RS246 since 2003 - and other forums for longer. That has naturally lead to the current situation where I (and Iain also) run (unconnected) companies in the Automotive sector. As such we are both active members and supporters of many prestige performance car forums and are happy offer our own impartial views to help the members have more of an insight into the car business.

Whether people choose to listen or like what either or us says...well that's a different matter of course !!

The only issue with that is that it is being covertly and not by the rules......... If you run a business and then take business from the site, in any form, referal or tout, you are in breach of the rules governing financial gain from the site. We(the crew) are very aware that this is going on, and not just in the financial sector, so be well warned, a few red cards might be in the offing very soon. The Crew will not tolerate any type of trading through the site unless the trader has paid for that priviledge........... End of
