I fitted the pioneer to my 996. I wanted the CarPlay which I love. I never use the standard radio any more. Just the radio app on CarPlay.

With the new phone laws it does actually help as I get in the car and plug in the phone and leave it in the centre box!

Quick q about the pioneer. Does it attach to the car GPS aerial or does it rely on the phone GPS ( hit and miss in the countryside I find )

Could you post a picture of this in your 996? I’ve considered doing the GT3 centre console delete to lose the pcm2 screen.
