I think the dyno thing goes back to Americans being used to "wheel" horsepower which isn't really wheel horsepower. Europeans are used to crank horsepower which isn't really crank horsepower.

Each side uses a type of dyno that suits the local perception best.

Exactly. Unfortunately it doesn't translate well across the Atlantic

£7k for the kit and then another 7k installing, upgrading/changing your clutch, flywheel, brakes, lines, spare diff etc!!

7 grand for fitting?! That would be some labour rate!!

Around 8k for the kit, and depending where u take the car shouldn't be more then 2k for labor and maybe another 4 or 5k for clutch and all the others parts needed there!
