Guys, go and buy Assetto Corsa (£30) - it's the best sim out there. They are about to release the Nordschleife as a laser modelled track but it is already available (not modelled) by modders and is truly brilliant. Also, modders have done Spa (epic too) and a whole host of tracks. You won't get closer to actually being on the tracks than actually being on the tracks. I just downloaded a modded Laguna Seca and currently use the P4/5 Competizione as my weapon of choice.
