Problem with the jag (after driving both) is that the merc amg's are a better car all round.
Had a play against one in the rs4 on bendy roads and comfortably pulled away.

that just measured the drivers. Congrats...you're a better driver than the other guy. Switch cars and you would obliterate him while he drove your rs4...because now the better driver has another 150 hp underfoot. I don't care if the chassis isn't as nice.

possibly... wasn't particularly trying certainly not enough to trouble the Quattro. I consider myself comfortably capable as a fast driver (have a few trophies) but after driving the rs4 and the jag I don't think I could keep up with joe average if I was driving the jag and them in the rs4. its not a case that the chassis isn't as nice (feels ok to me) but the rear traction is badly matched to the power output and just didn't inspire confidence enough to actually use the extra power.
