Health check at mrc 309bhp vac issues and decoke
Re: Health check at mrc 309bhp vac issues and decoke
All he has mentioned is a stage 1 manifold and stage 2 remap (although these figures were before remap I think).

Re: Health check at mrc 309bhp vac issues and decoke
let's establish the baseline
the only difference bewteen before and after is the cleaning, no vacuum leaks etc.
the mods were the same before and after
drop in filter
de-catted
full miltek
no software
was the stage 1 manifold done during the cleaning?
and the software is not done on these dyno resilts

Arthur, don't forget we don't know what the actual 'after' figures are yet as that was someone else's graph.ArthurPE wrote:let's establish the baseline

Re: Health check at mrc 309bhp vac issues and decoke
I brought the car with
Standerd exhaust with decats
Panel filter
And a old remap from mrc in 2009
I added a milltek to the car and took it to mrc for a decoke stage 1 manifold map tweek and new oil seprator
Now I asked for the pre work figures and said 309ps car has vac issues and in need of decoke at the end of the next day I see my car in pics on site with a print out so I would say this is after the decoke and vac issue

Jamie
Look at this post from the 11th May:

You can see that the dyno graph you showed us is for Jobbys car. It also doesn't match your starting figure of 309PS so it looks like MRC have posted the wrong graph by mistake. Contact Doug and ask him for the actual figures.

That's better, just a touch under 440PS. That's some big difference.
How does it feel now compared to before? Could you tell it was seriously lacking power before you took it in?
