£675 is way too much, hopefully he'll manage to take a fair chunk more off for a group buy. If not, I'll just stick to OEM.

Yep, iv been running them for a few years now. Its easy to make a connection, in the OEM wear sensor connector, just put a piece of wire into the two female plug sockets then insert the original connector cover back on, this then opens the circuit. its easy and keeps the connector dirt free in case you want to put wear sensors back in at a later date.

I cant access my photobucket account so cant post pic!

The funny thing is, I thought the LOBA ones were made with AP discs.... Not actually knowing how long a set of front discs last, but having read that the OEM dont last great, I guess the saving could be quite good over time

We do use only AP Racing rotors, but are not same as AP offer as a replacement. Ours was selected from there range for performance rather then cost.

Better late than never and sorry for the poor quality iPhone pics and dirt of the wheels!

I got the Tarox disks and pads (Yellow Stuff) fitted and the specialists said that these were, in their opinion, much better than OEM. They commented on the better designed ventilation groves over OEM.

Will get some proper pics again.

Cheers Revolution

@jasonpaul it was part of the Revolution group buy:

EBC Yellow Stuff Pads - 21% off, £157.00 (usually £198.90)
Tarox rotors (fit OEM bell) - ~10% off, £570.00 for the front pair (usually £635.00)
+ Shipping to the Emerald Isle.

It woked out over €500 less than Audi Ireland Stealers wanted for OEM pads and disks.

I bought a pair of front AP Racing discs as I'm a Cov lad and AP are a Coventry company. These were supplied by TECHCRAFT RACING SPARES Warwick. I bought them as they are better quality. I know they are more expensive than Audi OEM but only for the bell, which is re-usable and in future the kit is the same price as OEM, (minus bell).

Might seem an odd question, but can you choose the colour of the AP Racing bells?

Just Built up a set of these, weighing in at 9.5kg inc bell.
Not bad when you consider our WRC disc and bell is 8.5kg and disc only expected to last for 250km (stage)
