you mean when you press the S button it feels faster or its called a sports map Mike? tempted with MRC as they know their stuff with the RS
When you press the Sport button. They have sharpened the throttle response up really nicely. It's not jolty but as soon as you press the accelerator it gives in instant push much like a turbo car on boost. Next time you are driving by give me a shout and I'll show you, see what you think.
Sometimes I wonder if they have dulled the normal mode to make the Sport more pronounced, but I have faith in what they do and say.

ah right nice, i liked the fact S button changed the exhaust, but not now lol, so changing the map will be just as good,

thanks for the info, and offer :beerchug:

As previously mentioned, MRC sports mode is epic...

Stage 2 is £650...

Do it!

i recently did another carbon clean, i think its been about a 5000 miles or so and this is what was built up.

Image

whilst i had the inlet off i removed and blanked the SAI off and removed the pump, i also started removing all the casting imperfections from inside the inlet, i will eventually mirror polish the inside, but this is as far as i got as it takes so long to sand/smooth.

Image

Image

whilst the inlet was off i covered the underside of the filter in thick silver hear shield for house radiators, works really well as after a long drive the carbon top and inlet pipes were cold. i also added a larger cold air feed now the sai was removed and blocked the bottom of the revolution filter from getting hot air in.

Image

I have been wrapping the whole exhaust in heat wrap also as hot air flows faster, minimal gains but a gain is a gain. whilst i was under there i made the exhaust spacer bracket out of real carbon, totally pointless but carbon is carbon.

Image

when looking for my RS it was difficult finding the right spec with everything i wanted, when i found mine i knew there were a few bits i was going to change along the way, one of them being the interior,

from the doorcard up it was cream/grey which made it more roomy and brighter but didnt feel right for the car.

Image

Image

stripped it all out

Image

Image

so recently i bought the whole lot in black

next was the rear view mirror, obviously not leaving it grey

stripped it down

Image

painted it black to match the rest

Image

and finally,

few more bits before aitp if they arrive too
