Agreed but at $30k (£20132.94) at today's exchange rates it just not worth it but I think I recall that he had a $20k (£13421.96) price tag before which for some may have been more exceptable.

Not being funny but who would spend the best part of the price of another RS4 to get around 650bhp+ when you could buy a RS6 and spend the balance tuning the crap out of it for less.

This. Base RS4 costing at least £20k, plus this kit at say £20K, so that'll be £45K, makes for a whole different pathway to that kind of power...

The endtank on the intercooler there is quite inefficient. Is that something you'll change if you end up selling a kit?

nothing wrong whith end thanks they flow very well actually we tested them
we also let the engine idle for 30 mn and give it some revs the intercooler stayed freezing cold

I didn't say they don't flow well, I said inefficient. You are not ducting charge air through the core uniformly.

And it wouldn't do lol. You're not generating any heat worth mentioning at idle as you know...

I don't see the problem, it's not like anyone is going to buy it without real world testing, is it?
If he post videos and dyno plots then great, if not then I've looked at some photos of some great fabrication work and learnt how much you can squeeze into an engine bay if you really want to. No dramas. The fact he has offered it for sale makes no difference to me, I'm just interested to see what can be achieved with this engine within the confines of a B7 chassis.
