so heres a little update

ive fitted the tail lights they are darker than i thought but i think i meant to order the red ones but nevermind lol

Image

Image

also fitted the exhaust finally,
the downpipes were a royal pain in the ass to remove, wit 4 studs snapping and a tap snapping off in the oe manifold, luckily i bought new studs and bolts and replaced them all.

i wrapped the downpipes in dei titanium heat wrap, not sure if it helps that much as i didnt to the manifold but it wasnt too much to do.

when i first fitted it i thought f*** this is loud, but it has cold start, (which needs to be mapped out) then it will be fine.

in the cab its fine, its perfect infact until you drop it dont and give it hell.

not the best pics but will sort some soon

oh and ill leave this here

Nice Dectanes, Rick - really finish the rear off nicely

The system looks a real nice piece of engineering, and the sound - F**K - that sounds brilliant! In fact, very much like mine and I can only liken it to a Spitfire flying past!

Car is looking very, very nice, Rick... a credit to you. :thumb:

Cheers Neil. Love the sound and the tails with the led brings the rear up to date.

Need it mapping now so need to decide if it's mrc or jhm

The LEDs do bring it up to date - I added in a Trups DRL with canceller for the revers and got rid of the incandescent - dead easy and will illuminate the moon when going backwards!

Yes, MRC or JHM - MRC have it off to a tee with cold start etc. but like you say; decisions!

Good work yet again Rick!

I don't know much about the JHM map but the MRC sport mode is immense. It really transform the car. Probably makes it no faster but it feels so much faster.

When you press the Sport button. They have sharpened the throttle response up really nicely. It's not jolty but as soon as you press the accelerator it gives in instant push much like a turbo car on boost. Next time you are driving by give me a shout and I'll show you, see what you think.
Sometimes I wonder if they have dulled the normal mode to make the Sport more pronounced, but I have faith in what they do and say.
