Hi Rick_RS4
Please can you tell me what heights you're running front and rear ie ground to top of wheel arch.
I'm Front 64cm & Rear 65cm. I'm running 20" with 255 30 20's with a tiny bit of rub on the NSF so having the arches rolled tomorrow. I fancy going lower though !

my parts arrived from argon the other day but they were unfinished (not a complaint as they were free)

anyway when they arrived they looked like this

Image

but they didnt fit too well, i think argon were trying to design covers for people so all they had to do was stick it over, but it looked rough where the carbon met the wheel leather, i think if they just skinned it it would have been better but thats just me,

i had a spare front silver panel that bought from a member but i had to cut that down because the ends overlapped the leather.

here is how it fitted

Image

so after many hours of dremmel and sanding and test fitting, i used fiberglass resin and filled the inside with it,, i tied the front and rear together as they bonded to make the join as minimal as possible.

after it had dried i had to sand the resin down from my work and from where the masking i used to protect the finish had pulled the lacquer aff in parts, so sand sand sand, then i did about 3 dry coats and one final wet coat of clear also over the badge to protect it from peeling as it usually

and here is the result

Looks good Rick. I'd like to see it complete with airbag and in the flesh to make final judgement. Been toying with this idea for a while but wasn't sure how well it would work.
